Some pineapple farmers across Ghana are experiencing low yields and smaller size pineapples as a result of planting the wrong pineapple tubers and failing to follow industry standard agronomic practices. As a result, these farmers are unable to meet the quality and size standards demanded from the international market and are unable to export their fruit.
