The farmgate price of maize in Northern Ghana has remained relatively stable since the 2022 harvest began in August, even though rising input costs both in the international and domestic markets continues to impact negatively on the farmers' ability to produce more crops. In W34 the farmgate price of maize in Northern Ghana is around USD 260/MT and is anticipated to remain stable for the foreseeable future.
