MD2 Pineapple Prices in Ghana Down 10% MoM and Expected to Remain Stable for the Rest of 2022

The price of MD2 pineapples in Ghana has remained relatively stable during the past couple of weeks due to the stability of the Ghanaian cedi against the US dollar. As of W38, the price for MD2 pineapples is around USD 6.5/12kg compared to USD 7.2/12kg during August 2022. Some suppliers are anticipating that the price will remain stable around USD 6.5/12kg until the end of the year before the price starts to pick again.
