Midwest region starts operating new corn based plant for ethanol and DDGS

Goiás state producer takes a step ahead on the bioenergy market by diversifying its sources of raw material and its product portfolio. A new plant will be processing corn into corn based ethanol and components for animal feed markets. An investment of R$ 280 million in the construction site of the diversed BU had been applied. The unit, already in operation, will produce an average of 245 million liters of hydrated ethanol annually, 175 thousand tons of DDGS and 7 thousand tons of corn oil, grinding about 580 thousand tons of corn.
