Myanmar Macadamia Growers are Looking for International Buyers

Myanmar has started commercial macadamia plantation 5 years ago and it is grown in Thinitharyi, Bago, Kachin, Mandalay, Shan, and Magawy Region. Macadamia Nut was mainly exported to the Chinese in the past two years and its average price is MMK 5000 per kg. As the Myanmar-China border has closed down, Macadamia growers expect to get loss if they cannot find new international market coming months while the macadamia season is from October - December.
