In 2021, Taiwan exported a total amount of 1,060 kilos of mangoes to New Zealand. In June 2021, after the New Zealand side detected oriental fruit flies in Taiwan's lychee exports, the export and sales of Taiwanese lychee and mangoes were suspended.
