New Zealand will soon remove its prohibition on imported Taiwanese mangoes

In 2021, Taiwan exported a total amount of 1,060 kilos of mangoes to New Zealand. In June 2021, after the New Zealand side detected oriental fruit flies in Taiwan's lychee exports, the export and sales of Taiwanese lychee and mangoes were suspended.

After the investigation report submitted by the Council of Agriculture Taiwan, New Zealand approved the procedures and agreed to resume mango imports. It is currently undergoing legal procedures and is expected to be completed and reopened at week 52
