About 9 thousand cocoa producers agreed to business plans, thanks to an investment made by The Compensation Program for Competitiveness of S/122.6 million soles.
Agroideas indicated that it co-financed 76 Business Plans and 150 Agricultural Productive Reconversion Projects, for 8,601 cocoa producers, in 13 regions of the country, to improve and increase their productivity. Agroideas, is part of the actions of the Ministry of Agriculture - Minagri, to improve the efforts made bu the Peruvian cocoa producers.
The found will enhance the production of this fruit, providing infrastructure, machinery and agricultural inputs to cocoa farming families in the Amazon, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Cusco, Huánuco, Junín, Loreto regions. , Madre de Dios, Pasco, Piura, San Martín, Tumbes and Ucayali.
