Fresh Guava Prices Dropped 18% WoW in Cartagena’s Wholesale Market in W9

In Colombia's Cartagena wholesale market, fresh guava prices experienced a notable decrease. The price fell by 18% week-on-week (WoW) in W9, settling at USD 0.78 per kilogram (kg). This reduction is due to a significant increase in the supply of guavas originating from the West side of Colombia. Cultivation in this region has seen enhanced production levels, leading to a greater volume of fresh guavas available for the market and consequently, a lower price in Cartagena.
