Norwegian Salmon Exports Increased in W35, Price Stability is Expected Until Year-End

During W35, Norway saw a 5% week-on-week (WoW) rise in fresh salmon exports, with the 3-6kg Superior Salmon category adding 1,264 metric tons (mt) compared to the previous week. On the pricing front, there was minimal movement, with prices edging down to USD 6.74 per kilogram (kg). Moreover, Q4-24 future contracts were traded at roughly USD 7.45/kg, suggesting a potential price increase towards the end of the year.
