Only 11% of tuna fisheries have anti-slavery policies in place

Only 11% of tuna processing companies have policies in place to guarantee anti-slavery practices in their onboard facilities. This information was revealed by Deloitte in a study where they interviewed 11,000 clients of 35 companies.

The study found as well that there are more policies for sustainable and environmental protection than human rights.
