Chili pepper and onion producers based Zacatecas are concerned that the difficult situation related to organized crime can affect their shipping operations and prices. They claim that every time they send off a container of their products, members of these criminal organizations appear in their facilities and demand a protection fee to let them work without being bothered, therefore this increases the price at which producers have to sell to keep a profit.
