Price of domestic black peppercorn in Vietnam has dramatically increased

Domestic black peppercorn has dramatically increased in week 41, at 3.8 USD/kg in Central Highland, and even reaching 3.88 USD/kg in Ba Ria Vung Tau on Oct 13, 2021, increased by 0.05 USD/kg compared with Oct 12. Big dealers and exporters have enhanced buying, but the supply from farmers has been limited. Export price has kept an increasing trend as a result since the end of week 40.
