Price trend of fruits in Vietnam

The price of lemon and banana in Vietnam has witnessed a significant increase in August while the price for dragon fruit, longan, and coconut decreased sharply due to the adverse effect of the COVID pandemic and the soil salinity. The price of lemon in Vietnam increased by 50% to USD 0.43 per kg in comparison to that of last year. Meanwhile, the price of banana is currently USD 0.42 per unit which climbed up by 0.096 per kg than that of the second quarter of 2020. On the other hand, the price of dragon fruits, longan, and coconut declined by 50% in August.
