Prices are getting higher because of Holiday season is near

At the moment, prices are high due to seasonability. There are more tuna in the Visayas or Mindanao areas at this time, which requires transport by plane or trucking for those who would want FOB Manila. Also, the Holiday season is near, thus demand is high and suppliers are doing its best comply with production. Because of this, the price per kilo of tuna is around 16.50 USD, though it varies depending on the season. Before September came in this year, the FOB price was only around 12-13 USD. As Christmas is getting near, price is expected to go up.
