The reasonable prices are expected for the autumn production of peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, and aubergines since December have led many farmers to delay planting early melons or watermelons, reducing competition from watermelons melons from overseas and Senegal with the first Andalusian productions.

In general terms, autumn crops slightly increased their supply throughout the week, favored by the rise in night temperatures and the greater availability of solar radiation on these dates. However, Andalusian production continues to be limited and, in cumulative terms, slightly lower than last season. The main Andalusian-protected vegetables end the month of January with high prices. Compared to the previous week, the most significant rises can be seen in tomatoes, aubergines, and peppers, in contrast to the evolution followed by courgettes, cucumbers, and green beans.
