As of W6, the Peruvian protests have been ongoing for almost three weeks. The export volume of Peruvian grapes to the East Coast of Canada will decrease significantly towards the end of February. There is still fruit left to harvest in Peru, but due to the protests, many operations across the country have shut down. Importers are waiting and beginning to search for alternative sources to fulfill contracts and market demand.
