Record high groundnut production expected in Gujarat

Groundnut crop production in Gujarat, India is expected to be 3.9 Million tons in Gujarat during the current Kharif season, which is about 8.74% higher compared to 3.5 million tons produced in 2020. According to the SEA (Solvent Extractors Association of India), this is mainly due to normal to excessive rainfall during the months of August and September and the absence of significant crop damage.
