In Mar-24, despite the persistent tension in the Red Sea, the transportation expenses for inland reefer trucking from Egypt to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have declined again. The prices have dropped from USD 7,190 to USD 6,500 per 53-foot reefer truck, indicating a 9% month-on-month (MoM) decrease. This reduction is due to a downturn in trucking demand.
