According to a Danish wholesaler based in Taastrup (Copenhagen outskirts), Danish retailers are switching from next W23 to prepacked Chilean red seedless grapes. They mentioned that the quality of the remaining RSA grapes is not good anymore. During the next weeks, we should expect a faster rotation of the stocks and more fluent sales. The above mentioned was ratified by the demand seen from German retailers, which were loading a nice volume of this product from our warehouse located in Maasdijk (Rotterdam).

Price was around USD 12.22 to 12.76 per box (EUR 11.5 to 12/box) per box in W22, but it’s possible that an increase in the course of the coming days, especially because Chilean Red Seedless is the only option available before the arrival of the first red grapes from Egypt.
