In Oct-24, the price of roasted green coffee beans in Egypt rose for the second time, reaching USD 14.37 per kilogram (EGP 700/kg), up from USD 12.32/kg (EGP 600/kg) in Aug-24. This increase is driven by high demand, inflation, and rising electricity costs, all contributing to higher production expenses in the coffee industry.
