Russia's desire to increase fresh fruit and vegetable imports from Turkey will positively affect the market. But as this is a discourse, it has to be seen. There is such a statement, but it has not been implemented. However, such a statement will reflect positively on the market. Turkey's goal is to increase export opportunities to the Far East market by using air transport facilities and to reach alternative markets.

Russia has rapidly developed its agricultural and greenhouse activities and increased its production. It may not import fresh fruit and vegetables from Turkey in the coming years. Since Turkey has an export-based production model, production volume will fall if exports cease. The way to make production sustainable is to find new markets in the sector. Turkey wants to take action as well. Russia had previously restrained the export of grapes, pomegranates, pepper varieties, tomatoes, grapefruit, and oranges from Turkey.
