This year, almost half of the grain crops have been affected by the drought in Moldova. According to official data, the total damage is estimated at about € 60 million. In this situation, agricultural producers held a series of protests demanding more compensation. The Russian Federation will provide first aid in the amount of 275 million rubles to help the country.
This money will be distributed among Moldovian farmers so that they can continue the autumn filed work, so as not to jeopardize the food security of the country.
