Saudi Arabia imposes a new import ban on Turkish made products and the list of banned products includes chicken meat, chicken eggs, poultry, milk and dairy products, fish and aquaculture products, and honey.

The new regulation will come into effect starting from Nov, 15th 2020 and the mentioned products are not going to be issued veterinary health certificates by Saudi authorities.

Saudia Arabia was the 6th biggest export destination for Turkish food & agricultural products before the first wave of import bans was imposed and as of the month of October this year, Saudi Arabia has become the 9th biggest export destination for Turkish goods. Now with the current ban, the export value from Turkey to Saudi Arabia is expected to further decrease.
