Since August 1st, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in the Republic of Korea recognized the electronic health certificate issued by the National Service of Fisheries and Aquaculture of Chile (Sernapesca). The recognition of this certificate will allow Chilean seafood exporters to have greater security in the export process by reducing processing times. For now, the electronic health certificate will only apply to products destined for human consumption, such as refrigerated and frozen products made from farmed salmonids and refrigerated and frozen products made from extractive fishing species and bivalve mollusks.
