Sheep, lamb, and goat meat prices have increased recently in Greece, and according to experts, it is due to lower supply from imports caused by movement restrictions under the Covid-19 measures.
Farmgate prices for lamb are around EUR 6.5 per kg while for sheep meat is around EUR 3.5 per kg. The meat supply is reportedly about 60% less than the production output last year.
