Shortage of Tuna products will still continue as most of the high seas fishing activities have temporarily stopped in East Indonesia, the main producing region in the country, due to extreme weather conditions. There are increasing tropical cyclone seed activities, also in West Indonesia. Although it is observed that the cyclone is starting to depart from the East region, the impact of the bad weather is predicted to continue until May or June, hinder the fishery activities, especially for the small and traditional boats.
