Shortage on green limes has been occured due to new EU regulation

Due to new EU regulations, there is a looming shortage of green limes in the Netherlands retail market. The retail is out of good quality limes, with only remaining old stock on display. New arrivals are priced at EUR 8- EUR 10 per 4 kilos, which seems unworkable for retail. Hesitation is expected from customers during the current Corona lockdown to purchase at such level prices.
