It seems that improved weather conditions and low temperatures in Spain have resulted in increased lettuce production following severe shortages in recent weeks, However, cold temperatures and a further drop in production are forecast for the coming weeks again. A return to normal production is not expected until mid-March or late spring. In W9, the price of lettuce leaving the warehouse stood at USD 12.22/5kg box EXW Spain. There is no availability for clients who are out of programs.
