South Korean Broccoli Farmgate Prices on an Upward Trend

Prices for domestically produced broccoli in South Korea recorded a high farmgate price of KRW 19,829 (USD 15.34) /8kg on June 2 in the local market. Since then, prices have been on an upward trend, recording as high as KRW 23,000 for wholesale auction prices on June 14 before going down to KRW 20,500 for June 21, still higher than prices in early June.
