Spanish Stone Fruits Arrival in Brazil Retail sector in Week 22

The first Spanish stone fruits (peaches and nectarines), have arrived in the retail market in São Paulo on week 22 for one importer, and another container in week 23 for a second importer.

The first prices offered were CIF-Santos, EUR 18/box CIF-Santos, for the peaches (white), cat1, 9kg box, smaller calibers since they were the first to arrive in the market. The importers in week 23 have already closed some containers with ETD in week 24, and week 25, at prices as below:

Peaches: EUR 16/box 9kg, cat1, CIF-Santos, for bigger calibers 40s, and EUR1 less per smaller caliber (white and yellow varieties).
Nectarines: EUR 15/box 9kg, cat1, CIF-Santos, for bigger calibers 40s, and EUR1 less per smaller calibers.

Due to the smaller volumes of peaches this year in the Lerida region in Spain, the importers are bringing mixed containers of white and yellow peaches, and nectarines.
