In W10, storm Yaku began hitting Ecuador, leaving heavy rain throughout the country, thus affecting main roads used for communication between farmlands and main cities' airports and ports, causing delays in the transportation of various products, such as bananas. On the seafood side, heavy rains cause disturbance in the surface of the shrimp ponds making harvest impossible since shrimps hide in the bottom of the ponds, thus delaying harvests.
