Truck Drivers Strike in Chile Is Affecting Fruit Logistics

On November 21st of 2022, a few associations of Chilean truck drivers called a strike due to fuel price increases and insecurity, displaying partial blocks on different main highways in Chile. The Association of Fruit Exporting Companies (ASOEX) is calling on the Chilean Government and truck drivers to find a stable solution and call off the strike due to logistics problems that are causing the industry.
