Demand for Australian Macadamias has been strong with the first stage of off farm Nutshell deliveries being pre-sold as kernel and selling out, despite the slow start to harvest caused by heavy rain and flood conditions throughout the Macadamia growing regions on the North East Coast of Australia. The first completed production of processed Macadamia Kernel is not expected to depart Australian shores until late May or early June.
