Surge in IQF Sour Cherry Prices in Turkey With Importers Turning To Serbia as Alternative Source

During W40 and W41, price fluctuations continued in IQF sour cherry prices in Turkey. Currently, grade A sour cherry prices reached USD 2 per kilogram (kg). The availability of this product in the domestic market is decreasing weekly, prompting buyers in Turkey to explore alternative sources for better prices. In Serbia, current sour cherry prices range from USD 1.50 to USD 1.60/kg, and since there is no customs tax between Serbia and Turkey, some imports have already taken place and are continuing.
