Tahiti Lime suppliers in the São Paulo region, who had their shipments suspended in early July due to citric canker cases reported in Rotterdam and Spain, were looking forward to completing their 60-day suspension. The Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA) recently notified them that exports will remain suspended for an additional month. Producers hope that MAPA will authorize lime exports by September 29.
