The export season for Taiwanese apple mangoes exported to South Korea and Japan started around May 20th in 2022. The total output of apple mangoes is expected to decrease by around 30-40% due to poor weather conditions. The first price of the season was about USD 15 more expensive per 5kg than the 2021 average price. The CIF Busan price was around USD 28-32 per 5kg in 2021, and the 2022 price is averaging around USD 45 per 5kg.
