Tanzanian Farmers Agreed to Auction off 1143MT of Cashews at the MAMCU Cooperative Union

Tanzanian farmers agreed to sell 1143MT of standard-grade raw cashew nuts at the 10th auction conducted by the MAMCU cooperative union at Mtwara District in the Mtwara region. The highest bid price was USD 0.78/kg, and the lowest bid offer was USD 0.73/kg. A total of eight companies participated in this auction at MAMCU Cooperative Union, and the number of companies participating in the auction is dropping as the season is concluding. There is an average price drop of USD 0.04/kg compared to W50's auction price at the union.
