Huge demand of Wagyu meat in Malaysia

The wagyu meat that was previously about RM22K / portion is now increasing to RM29K / portion for the "Qurban" ceremony held for Eid-ul- Adha. One cow will usually be divided into 7 portions for this religious ceremony. Although wagyu is not the main choice due to its price but getting demand from the affluent group due to its quality and has caused the price to increase.
