The 2022 Spanish Peach Season Experienced a 29% YoY Decrease in Production

The 2022 season for Spanish peaches was undoubtedly the worst of the last decade. Production has dropped by 29% YoY to 531,224MT from 753,204MT in 2021. This year's production was also 49% lower than the average of 900,000 MT. In terms of exports, there was a drop of 33% YoY to 199,790MT in 2022 from 269,346MT in 2021 and a 36% drop compared to the average of 310,200MT over the last 7 seasons.
