Lettuces season in Taiwan delayed due to warm weather

Taiwan lettuce season starts in late October and lasts until April, while the export quality season starts in mid-December. However, this season has been delayed due to unusually warm September. The early crops of lettuce are of bad quality even for the domestic market. The earliest crop is estimated to be available around mid-November and mid-December for export quality.
