Turkey Exported USD 246M of Dried Figs in 2022 With a Target of 70K MT Set for 2023

In 2022, Turkey received a foreign exchange inflow of USD 246M for the export of 70K MT of dried figs. In 2023 the export target remains the same as the 2022 level of 70K MT. Turkey meets 58% of the world's dried fig needs. The primary export destination was the US with USD 37M of exports. France took second place with USD 31M while Germany came in third with USD 30M. The Far East is seen as a potential market to target in 2023 with potential for growth.
