US Envy Apples Entered the Vietnamese Market in W50 with Higher Prices

Following the end of the New Zealand Envy apple harvest season, the Envy apple harvest season from the United States (US) has commenced. In Dec-23, the first containers of US Envy apples arrived in Ho Chi Minh ports in Vietnam. In W50, the wholesale price stood at USD 65 per 9-kilogram (kg) carton. Despite the relatively high price compared to other apple varieties, the market is responding positively due to the crispy and sweet quality of the apples.
