Cold Weather in North China may have a negative impact on Chinese Garlic prices. On Oct 16th, the temperature dropped from 19℃ down to 2℃ in Jinxiang County (Core Garlic Center). Also due to more rainfall, the sowing for the 2022 season has been delayed from the end of September to mid-October. Now it is forecasted that the price may rise to USD 1.55/kg from the current price level of USD 0.90/kg (EXW).
