In recent years, Taiwan's large-scale planting of yellow-skinned and white-fleshed dragon fruit has attracted the attention of local industry players, and they have tried every means to introduce branches for trial planting. The domestic industry has taken the lead in planting the yellow-skinned and white-fleshed dragon fruit, and its current high price is obviously due to the factor of being rare and expensive. It is true that under market conditions where demand exceeds supply, any fruit is expected to achieve high prices, and high prices will bring increased economic benefits, which will lead farmers to invest in the planting business.

Malaysian investment and dragon fruit cultivation have been around for nearly 20 years. The red-skinned and white-meat varieties that were widely grown in the
early days have now ended and been replaced by red-skinned red meat. The red-skinned and white-fleshed dragon fruit were eliminated due to two factors which are low yield and low resistance to pests and diseases.
