The price of green plums has dropped to one-third in Taiwan

This winter is colder than 2021, and the harvest of green plums is much higher than in 2021. The farmers thought that they would be able to sell at a good price during the production season. In the past, the candied fruit factories mainly purchased large-scale. However, candied fruit was unsalable due to the epidemic. The price has dropped from USD 0.69/kg-USD 0.86/kg in 2021 to only USD 0.31/kg in 2022.
