The production volume of wheat in Morocco

The final production of the three main-cereals for 2020-2021 is estimated at 103.2 million quintals against 32.1 million quintals in 2019-2020, an increase of 221% compared to the previous season. Cereal production is distributed over soft wheat with 50.6 million quintals, durum wheat with 24.8 million quintals, and barley with 27.8 million quintals. This exceptional production is mainly due to the good temporal rainfall in the critical stages of cereal development.
