Vietnamese Shrimp Market Shows Signs of Price Recovery Due to Increased Demand

Positive signs have emerged in the Vietnamese shrimp market, indicating a gradual improvement in consumption. As of November 23, 2023, the average price of Vannamei shrimp has increased to USD 4.07 per kilogram (kg), marking a 20% recovery compared to the prices of the last two years. However, the recovery for Black tiger shrimp prices has been slower during the same period, with an increase of about 13% to an average of USD 7.26/kg.
