Turkish Grain Board Has Drawn Criticism Following the 495,000 MT of Barley Tender

The Turkish Grain Board (TMO), which started the first import of barley after the harvest, announced on October 11 that it would hold a tender for 495,000MT of barley imports. Although it is a good opportunity for the importer, TMO was criticized for purchasing 1MMT of barley from farmers while importing 495,000MT of barley from foreign farmers.
