This scarcity is exacerbated by the closure of old factories and increased costs associated with cultivation, benzene, solar prices for machinery, and electricity. As a result, the available supply in the Egyptian market remains limited, with prices ranging from approximately USD 0.94 to 1.26 per kilogram (kg).
