The extended dry season has not hindered the 2023/24 mangosteen fruit harvest. Anticipated growth in harvest volume is forecasted to commence Nov-23, starting in regions like Lombok, Bali, and their surroundings, followed by Java and Sumatra islands. The peak harvest is projected to occur in early 2024, from January through March. Exporters are optimistic, believing that this season will yield a more bountiful harvest than the previous year based on field reports.
